Lion King Bush Camp is nestled within Samburu National Reserve along the Ewaso Nyiro River, providing an untouched natural environment with minimal disruption to the bush and its wildlife. This serene location is home to a diverse range of species, including numerous birds, mongooses, vervet monkeys, genet cats, tortoises, and monitor lizards. Elephants frequently visit, often crossing the river or enjoying mud baths right in front of the camp.
The atmosphere is relaxed, authentic, and perfectly suited for adventure travelers seeking rich experiences. Guests typically gather for meals in the open-sided dining area or around the campfire, although some prefer a private table set up beneath the stars. Lion King Bush Camp features six secluded tents, each equipped with an outdoor seating area, double beds, and en-suite showers and toilets. We also accommodate requests for triple or quadruple occupancy.
Our full-board rates encompass accommodation, three daily home-cooked meals, and early morning tea and coffee served at your tent or in the dining area. Our half-board rates include breakfast and dinner, and we can organize packed lunches for guests wishing to explore the reserve throughout the day.

Six tents are spread across 5 acres in the heart of Samburu National Reserve. The tents overlook the Ewaso Nyero River, which separates Samburu National Reserve from Buffalo Springs. Wildlife abounds, and each day brings the opportunity to witness elephants crossing the river, baboons drinking at its banks, and a plethora of birds soaring above.
